A friend of mine has a Fender, 8 string steel that Shot Jackson put one pedal on ,I think about 1955.I bought it from Shot in 1955 when he was playing with Johnny and Jack and a young girl called Kitty,,It was the first time I had heard the Pedal sound ,so I bought it...
I sold it to my friend " Bill" who has had it till now....My guess is that Shot put the pedal on in 54...
The guitar raises the 2nd string to c#,, and the 3rd string [G#] to A ,,,kind of the way it all started...
Originally the guitar had 3 legs and to add the pedal Shot added a 4th leg...This is certainly the beginning of the Shobud dynasty..
This "Jewel" is looking to relocate to the best [$$$] home
