Anyone know Clarence Griffin from Illinois?

Hi Everyone,
I'm a new PSG player and forum member. I just started playing last week when I bought a used Mullen!

Anyway, the guitar used to belong to Clarence Griffin (now deceased) from Chester, IL. The guy I bought it from (his nephew) says he used to play around Illinois, Missouri, and Tennessee but didn't know too much about what he was up to.

Anyone ever run into him?
