FENDER 400 - early 60s long scale model.
8 strings,5 pedals and 1 knee lever[added by me]. Currently in B6 Sneaky Pete tuning with his pedals 1,2,5.7.8 with knee lowering #1 to C#. Built in distortion-fuzz with 4 position switch. Two pickups, one original and one Ibanez 8 string Humbucker. Volume control replaced with 3 position switch for front, both or rear pickup selection. A few holes in underside where I experimented with knee levers but settled on simpler 1 knee setup. Previous owner drilled some holes in the frame and in the legs for unknown purposes. It may have been repainted at some time. This steel plays great and has the sound. It's a player, not a collectible as it stands. I acquired this with no case but will include a keyboard gig bag. More details/pics upon request.$650 shipped to CONUS.

This ad originally included a 1970s MSA S12. The next comments refer to the MSA.

I don't recall working on this guitar. I observe that it has Dekley knee levers on it. I would never have placed Dekley levers on an MSA guitar. Maybe someone else worked on it after I did. ...Tom

I was told by the person who sold the MSA to me that it was well cared for by you. The person who put the Dekley levers on was me. The other ones [ non-MSA,unlike the left ones ] folded forward and didn't work well. Those Dekley levers were what I had on hand, fit the existing hardware and folded sideways, which worked better for me.
