I bought this guitar from a fellow forumite in 2011. It is finished in black mica and has two broad mother of pearl inlay strips on the front of the body. Guitar has full polish job. Height is currently 1" over standard. Pickup is BL705. Setup is Emmons. Franklin Pedal is at "0" position. It has two LKL levers. The front LKL lever raises string 7 to G#. Rear LKL raises E's. LKR lever lower E's. LKV lowers B's to Bb. RKL raises string 1 to G#; raises string 2 to E; and lowers string 6 to F#. RKR lowers string 2 to D/C#; raises string 7 to G#; and lowers string 9 to C#. Tunable splits are on strings 5, 6, and 10. Guitar case has wheels on one end and a handle added to end opposite from wheels. Price is $2,995 delivered to Dallas Steel Guitar Jamboree in March or will meet buyer within 150 miles of Abilene, Texas to deliver guitar. Will ship guitar only to lower 48 states for $125 more ($3,120).

Post edited to correct LKR change. That lever lowers the E's.

I've got a Mullen just like this one, best steel I've ever had and I've had a few since 1966. Best pedal action of any steel out there

Wow if I had a buyer for my Strayhorn era Emmons I'd jump on this.

Hey, Gerry! Wally Moyers and I visited about you a couple of days ago. If I hadn't have gotten a D-10 G2 about two weeks ago, I would have that guitar. That's a great guitar at a great price! BTW, my sister lives in Buffalo Gap so I'm there from time to time. Let's swap licks sometime! Good luck with your sale!

I have a question.
When the height is 1" over standard, how high are the strings off the floor? (Inches)
What is involved to change the height?
John

Mickey, you know much more about all of this than I do, but at least with this guitar, the legs don't have to be cut down. The 1" spacers or extensions inside the guitar legs , and the two pedal bar spacers on the outside of the front legs can be removed. That will bring the guitar down to standard height. Then the pedal rods have to be cut down, as you said, or new standard length purchased. If you will recall, when I first acquired this guitar, it was 2" over standard height, and you lowered it for me to current 1" over. Hope all is well with you.

Cant believe this hasn't sold yet. If I had the money I would be all over this. I had 2 G2's and regret selling them. I will buy another one.
