I ordered and received a Tone Hammer made for bass guitar. It technically is a preamp with tone controls and a sweepable mid range. I play through a NV1000.
I have all the knobs in the 12 o'clock position on the amp (which is off) I am using the tone controls on the Tone Hammer....The tone is LARGE! Added a little reverb and WOW! Has anyone tried one of these? I know Bruce Bouton uses one for direct use when he plays live.
