That Emmons sounded good. Wonder if he was playing direct at the time or still using an Amp? |

I have always been impressed with Wayne's playing, and great intonation, time, and tone on that tune.
Love the perfect time and pitch on the intial gliss, and then rock solid pitch with just right vibrato at the end of phrases. _________________ Scott Swartz

Wayne is a killer player. I love to hear him play. This song is so fun to play. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Wayne's playing on this one makes my head spin. Especially the solo when he does that incredible bar slant.

Wow, now that guy can play. Blew my socks off on I Sang Dixie and man that Emmons sounds good. Is it a P/P of Legrand? _________________ Henry Matthews

I met Wayne when he lived in Austin for a while a couple of years back. Great player, but also a very nice guy. He actually subbed a gig or two for me while he was here; talk about an upgrade. _________________ Lost Pines Studio
