I'm in the market for a new bar, and have been reading about the merits of BJS and Jim Burden bars. How do they compare? Are there others people recommend?

Thanks

All my opinion, based on my humble experience. For nickel strings use a stainless bar. For stainless strings use a chrome bar.
The John Pearse stainless bar that is made from cryogenic somethin' is worth the extra money. I hear a difference and like the difference.
Be sure you can still do slants with the new bar. Need that indentation on the end. I also play nonPSG and don't like to change bars.
If you find a bar you really like, buy 2 before they quit making it.

hope this has helped a little.
