So I ordered a new Encore from Doug Ernest and well I was wondering whether to get the single coil pick up or the humbucker. And suggestions?

I've heard good things about the humbucker, but I prefer the single coil bark.

Single coil for a lighter touch and humbucker if you are more heavy handed.

An Encore. I don't remember whether Doug winds his own buckers or single coils.
I do know that I don't care for the E-66. Good tone, but suppresses the soul of the attack. The best thing I ever did for my Zum was replace the E-66s that Bruce tried to talk me out of when I ordered it.
