Finally got the chance to sit down and send these thank you's....
To the SWSGA-Billy, Troy, Ray, Fred, both Peggys and everyone who works so hard on this show. Thank you for another great time!
To Wally and LaTronda Moyers for your invitation and hospitality on Wednesday in Ruidoso.
To Mike Smith for blowing me away and giving something to aspire to!
To my friend and fellow instructor Larry, and Susie Toliver for all your hard work on the instructional materials for the VERY SUCCESSFUL E9th Class.
To the 23 "students" who attended the class and all of your kind compliments afterwords.
To the Telonics group and Frank Carter for your help with my equipment "malfunctions".
To all of you who stopped by the table to buy a CD, Tracks, DVD or just to chat.
To Dean Holman for dinner company Saturday night/Sunday morning.
To Mark Abbott for not wearing the same shirt as me.
To Russ Hicks for being on the same page.
To all of friends and colleagues for the "visitating and conversating" and those who stayed up to the end of Saturday night to watch my set.
And a VERY special THANK YOU to my long time friends, Lou & Bobbie Rochelle for staying up for my set Saturday night and Lou singing "Still a Lot of Love in San Antone". I had a alot of great moments at this show, but your singing with me was the highlight of my weekend. I can't wait to see the video!

Steve it was great to see you and Donna at the show. Glad you had a good time.

You may or not know this but, Doyle G. Gus Barba, Billy Wayne Peters and Tommy had Lou in the band with us back in 196o-61 time frame. You may not also know that Billy Wayne passed away a few days ago. Doyle called me while I was at the show and gave the sad news.

Look forward to seeing you and all the locals in March.

Take care.

George

Thanks Billy. That reminds me that I didn't thank the band..Chuck, Mark, Dan, Bill and Roy for making me sound good.
And I didn't thank Herb Steiner for....well, just being Herb.

Hey Steve,

Really enjoyed your set too! Smile

Since you mention Lou Rochelle, I'm going to play his song at our steel club tomorrow evening.

I'm going to play "Still A Lot Of Love In San Antone" and also "Home In San Antone" that I've played with him many times when he was living here in Florida.

Lou is a long time member of our FSGC although he hasn't been able to attend for the last couple of years.
I sing his song "Still a Lot of Love in San Antone" every month at the senior center I do and mention his name and friendship when I do his song.
What a great voice he has.
