Thanks that's great Kay, wish they'd kept the camera rolling.
Hank goes to France and studies with Fapy Lafertin and a couple of other Gypsies. Fapy is really worth listening to, as is Angelo Debarre if you like traditional Django style.

Hank toured New Zealand and Australia recently. I attended a concert by Frenchman Dorado Schmitt here in Orange County a few years ago. Wonderful player.

Did anyone do a steel version of "Nuages"?

Hello Kay,
Andy Volk has a nice version in his "Arrangements in B11" book. It has some very nice diminished parts in it, just like Django would have used.
