What are the appropriate (nickel) string gauges for an Emmons SKH SD-10? |

A normal set. From 1-10, leading decimal point and first zero omitted due to silly smart keyboard not playing well with numbers: 12, 15, 11, 14, 18 (or 17), 22 (or 22W), 26, 30, 34, 38
The numbers in parentheses are also valid, just a matter of choice. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

OR the Franklin set, 013, 015, 012, 015, 018, 020 plain, 026w, 030w,034w,038w.
I have used these gauges on my Emmons for a long time. They are a little heavier and sound thicker as well. _________________ Just north of the Weird place, south of Georgetown |

I prefer the heavier strings myself. |
