As I grunted my Twin into my van the other day, I thought enough, I and my back are getting too old. So I began looking at the ever popular Nashville 112. But to my surprise, no one has one. Even Guitar Center said they are no longer carrying them. Is Peavey bringing out a new model?

Try Frenchy's pedal steel guitar shop, he should be listed here in the links or just google it. He's a great guy.

Peavey has announced they are releasing a new steel amp, a Robert Randolph head and speaker cabinets. Here is a link to that thread over in the Electronics section (where this thread may get moved to eventually):

http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=278346&sid=363fedc83736e96453e2c84b59567333

I have not seen discussion of whether the new amp will "replace" the 112, or if both will be available (although there may be a discussion of that somewhere that I haven't read). The Nashville 112 is still listed on Peavey's web site.

I don't see them as scarce. Looks to me that there is one for sale every couple of days on here. I have found a couple for friends here on the forum, one took only a few hours.

Tried Billy's. He hasn't got any. And I m not interested in the Randolph version which certainly explains everything. I will keep watching the forum. Or I'll start bring out the old lab L5. Lol.

Heh, Greg, give it shot by placing your search for the Nashville 112 in the WANTED section of The Forum unless you are looking to by a new one.

It's completely random. Sometimes the "For Sale" section goes 2 or 3 weeks without one, at other times there are 2 or 3 of them on the first page alone. Just be patient and keep checking. And Steve's suggestion about the "wanted" page is a good one.

Hey Greg, PM me if you are interested in a NV112. I have one only a few years old; looks like new. I would be willing to part with it...I like it but I have too many amps now. It just sits in my music room covered with a large towel to keep it from dust. Thanks, Roger Smile

If you prefer the Twin, you might wanna splash out for the Milkman Half and Half. Tube tone, but only 28 pounds with the Telonics 12. Yeah, it's a bit pricy, but it's still in production

Lane, I bit the bullet and bought a NV 112 that a member offered me. I figure I can use the twin on some local gigs sometimes.

With that being said, can anyone share some typical settings they are using on the 112?
