Through some great recommendations on this forum, I had the good fortune of ordering a couple of D2F padded covers recently for my old Sho-Bud D-10 & a '65 Blackface reissue. I just wanna say that they're really great - snug fitting and real nice to look at.
Tom Palmer was a real delight to deal with too - especially those great stories about when he moved to Nashville years ago! He's a great ambassador for the pedal steel.
Thanks for the great handiwork Tom.
Now my Nashville 112 is looking pretty naked! _________________ PSGs: Derby D-10, Sho-Bud Pro II Custom, Mullen Discovery

I have D2F covers for all my guitars.... You are correct...they are GREAT. Tom makes a fine product; I have had mine for several years and they still look new. Besides that, Tom Palmer is a fine gentleman....

Me too. And I need a new cover for my seat.
I also have one for my NV400. Great covers. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Playing for 54 years and still counting. |

I have three for my Roland 80XL amps, one for my Carter and another for my Emmons D-10.
I think it's a fine product but I must say that, after maybe eight years of constant use, the Emmons cover is starting to look a little frayed.
Perhaps it's time for a new one.... _________________ Roger Rettig: Emmons D10, B-bender Teles and Martins - and, at last, a Gibson Super 400!

I had one. Loved it. I left it behind at a gig not once but twice. The second time it got thrown away.
Are they available in a different color than black?
Black hides easily in a dark club. |

I'm really happy with mine. As well as protecting my Sho~Bud when it's set up, it's great when it's in the soft case as it is a barrier between the guitar and the extra foam padding I use. |

I have two nearly new D2F covers. One fits a Carter D-10, the other fits a Williams SD-10 600 series. I no longer have either guitar, so if anyone would like to have them...$30 each.
Edit:

Me too. Mullen D10 and NV112 covers. Had both for 5-7 years, can't remember, but both still look like new. _________________ Mullen RP D10, Peavey NV112, Hilton volume. Hound Dog reso. Piles of other stuff. |

Yes, recommended!
I was worried the standard Nashville 112 cover wouldn't fit over mine since I have added a knob guard that protrudes an inch or two beyond the normal face of the amp.
Tom cut a custom one for me. No problem at all for him, and it fits perfectly. He even marked it with a tag inside that says "Nashville 112 Custom" just so the world would know that it wasn't a mistake -- that cover is suppose to be slightly larger than normal. |

Wonderful covers. I have two now, and will buy more once the hobby money catches up again after acquiring 2 more steels.
Tom custom built a cover for my Hudson 3/4SD-8 and it fits perfectly.
I need 4 more covers for guitars and will eventually get covers for my 5 main amps. |

I have a heap of Tom's products to protect my gear - he is always open to "new" ideas too -- just a shame he doesn't make the cover for the Steelers Choice sidekick anymore, my one has been outstanding but has a couple of holes in it now and I could use a new one hehe ...but my seats are still pristine _________________ 14'Zumsteel Hybrid D10 9+9
