Matt does a beautiful job here and those roundwound strings really ring out.

Apparently, there's kind of a revival in NYC of this style of early jazz guitar popularized by players like Eddie Lang, Carl Kress, Alan Reuss, and George Van Eps (in his pre-fingerstyle days). _________________ Steel Guitar Books! Website: www.volkmediabooks.com

Munisteri...lol. Damn autocorrect!
I've played with him playing that guitar several times. We had a little Hawaiian duo for a couple of nice gigs. Tremendous talent, incredibly smart and funny. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |

I used to play with Matt sometimes. Super nice guy and crazy talented. This sort of guitar playing has been going on apparently forever in NYC. It's one of the wonders of NYC that calls people to the town. _________________ Bob |

Matt is heading up a vintage jazz workshop for string players next month in Port Townsend, WA. It's a trial balloon, sort of under the radar, publicitywise. Enrollment limited to 30. Don't know if it's sold out.
