Here's an unusual guitar-a 1966 (made in Kalamazoo) Epiphone Sorrento that has a deep body, like an ES-175. There are no mentions of a guitar like this in any catalog, and I've only seen one other like it, and it had a consecutive serial number.
This guitar is in great condition, except for the sad fact that it has a broken and repaired headstock. The break is solidly repaired, but is a little bit "cosmetically challenged". There are two small dings on the bass side of the top near the tailpiece. Other than those issues, there are no other dings, scratches, or cracks.
The guitar plays great. It has the skinny neck and 24 3/4" scale that Gibson used in the 60's. There's no fret wear.
The single mini humbucker sounds great. I mostly play this through an Acoustic Image amp, and it has that wonderful, dry, 50's jazz guitar tone. It comes with a vintage Guild case that fits perfectly.
I'm interested in trading for a thin hollow body, like a Gibson ES-125t.

James- I'm not really sure-it's a hard guitar to put a price on. Is a guitar that's outside the standard production model worth more, or less? How much does the repaired break affect the value? That's why I'm mostly interested in a trade.
I'd probably trade for a 7-string Gibson lap steel also. _________________ "it's not in bad taste, if it's funny." - john waters |

I was finally able to get a good picture of the label. It's odd, because "E452TD" means Sorrento with a thin body and two pickups. Also, they're almost always typed in, not hand written.
