I have several Boss pedals that I would like to take a chance on modding. Seems like so many people are doing mods. Anyone know of a reputable guy doing mods rather than some kid in his bedroom with a soldering iron?

I have his DD-3 mod. I like it. _________________ To write with a broken pencil is pointless. |

Another vote for Analogman. They do great work. _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel

Are you not handy with a soldering iron? I have modded a lot of them, and it's not hard. I have done several different mods, but think Monte Allums is the designer I like the best. He often uses a dual chip adapter that uses conventional 8 pin chips, (vs the stock inline), that really quiet the things down. |

Thanks for advise. I can handle a soldering Iron and may take a shot doing it myself. However, I procrastinate on projects so it may be faster to have the Analog Man do the mod on a DD-3 and Super Overdrive. |

I'm a big fan of Keeley's mods for the Ibanez TS9 and Boss DS-1 (did them myself). I don't have experience with any others, but I'm sure they're all good. _________________ If something I wrote can be interpreted two ways, and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, I meant the other one.
