I was wondering how many members owned
and played Miller Custom Pedal steels?
I had 2 of them a 1964 and a 1966.
They had 7 pedals and no levers.
They were heavy but had a good sound.

[2] Sho~Buds and a sore back!!

Well....I don't like to admit it but that was the first real steel I bought. D10 lacquer and wood necks. Real pretty but couldn't keep it in tune and it sounded bad. Kinda like my first wife of those days. I got rid of them both around the same time.

I have a Miller S-10, 3P X 5K, but I really don't know what to say about it . The undercarriage is clearly non-original. The changer is now a 4 R/4L deal. No two knee levers match .Virtually everything has been changed around, so it's impossible to make a judgement about how it originally stacked up . It's been a good "starter" instrument, in that it sounds as good as I'm able to- which is nothing to brag about! I don;t blame the Miller!

I once owned D10 MR,Miller,A beautiful wood finish. However I found it to be a very temperamental piece of equipment. Not the greatest tones and one heavy fellow not a good starter for me by no means.
But I only realied this after I bought Mr, Sho*Bud
