That's a pretty good deal, in spite of the stripped finish, no legs, mismatched control knobs, and a few non-original screws. Yes, it's a Custom, not a Stringmaster.

I got a real nice 1959 T8 Stringmaster in nearly mint condition from Guitar Center a few years ago for $1500 shipped. It's a long scale with a near perfect case. I think I got a great deal and I heard about it just like this, a post on this forum. They always have a big selection nice lap steels reasonably priced.
