Is that the tuning you use on all your guitars? _________________ Sierra Crown D-10 |

Hi Tim, yes but on my older guitars on the CW bands I didn't use the 0 pedal..but on the bands I'm on now we play a lot of rockin stuff and it gives me the good ole' guitar E/B-E/C# bottom...I never got the C6 pedal thing so I just added a few pulls as needed over the years..it's quite a versatile set up....Larry [/b] _________________ Excel steels & Peavey amps,Old Chevys & Motorcycles & Women on the Trashy Side |

Congratulations, Larry. REAL nice steel! Did you order it directly through Mitsuo? If so, was there customs duty on it? stevet |

Super. I've always been in awe of the appearance of his guitars from the changer-end endplate. Looks like the business end of a Mack truck coming at you. I also always assumed that it had the weight of a Mack. So I'm fascinated that it comes in at 22 lbs!
I'm studying the setup. An innovative 10 String E9 Ext. |

Hi Steve..long time since we've chatted!...Yes I ordered direct from Mitsuo..if there was a duty he paid it..He sent it Japanese mail and I got it from the USPS in 1 week!..he valued it at $2700 for customs ( Guitar was $3400 with 7/5)..are you coming back to America this summer?.. Jon, this is the 4th Excel I own and they keep getting lighter!..I just added a couple of flags and Wolf's Real Stop to the RKL ..The copedant came about when I need more chords.. the gal singer I worked with for years had me reading piano charts for a lot of show tunes and standards, and the CW band need me to play the low E/B Chet style bottoms...Steve, the black one is the one I got from you years ago! Happy NY..Larry
