Here's something you don't see for sale every day, a stand alone or floor mount type Franklin dual pot volume pedal. I paid an obscene amount for it a few years ago, sent it to a steel vendor for repair and they didn't quite nail it, the second pot doesn't seem to fit in there properly. I was too busy to deal with it. So it's in single pot mode at the moment, the other pot is wired up, just not attached to the slot as you can see in the picture. I have it Velcroed to the housing of the pedal. Pretty cool, rare piece with the old Franklin logo - which I love - on the front. I paid at least $275 for it and have a lot in it for a "repair" - letting it go for $250 plus shipping to the lower 48. No trades, price is firm, it's gotta go.
Thanks for looking, feel free to email me with any questions.

Perhaps a silly question: What is the purpose of the 2nd pot? |

Originally, there were 2 separate channels...like two pedals in one. Each channel had an input jack, an output jack, and it's own pot.
Gerald's pedal has the second pot, but it's not mounted for use. _________________ Best regards,

For what it's worth, my Franklin guitar has two inputs with seperate on off control switches. My Franklin volume pedal has two amp inputs with seperate pots and two outs to the guitar. I would imagine that you essentially could use two seperate amps at different settings by simply switching out at the steel. There is no way to make them run in tandem as the switches are simply on and off.

Erv.
I'm assuming by the question your asking is; what I play the guitar through? If so , I play it through a Gallian Kreugar MB 800 fusion with a RV3 into a single 15" eminence neo.
It works great! The GK has a built in tube preamp , is compact,( hangs on the side of my seat) and has plenty of shaping room and truck loads of power @ 800 watts into 4ohms.
I also have an Evans , & Nashville 400's and 112.
I sometimes twin them ( through a Goodrich VP or a stomp box with stereo/ twin splitting capability) to get a tube/ transistor sound. Makes for some interesting gig's.
Btw all my guitars : Franklin, 2 EmmonsLegrands aWilliams and a Carter sport BL pu's _________________ Williams SD10 ZumD10 Fessenden D10 . Evans RE150 peavey N400's GKMB 200 emminence speakers!, Live steel strings.

No, I'm wondering what an input jack is used for on a guitar. All my guitars have an output jack but no input jack. |
