Found this pic from late 80's with some pretty amazing steel players.....Do you recognize them? I was demonstrating the midi interface for Steel Guitar at Bobby Seymours store in Nashville.....Jimmy Crawford, who was a very good friend set up the meeting...spent time and stayed at Jimmy's house with Sonny Garrish and a few other pros...before....after that demo I went to Buddy Emmons house for a one on one demonstration...man, was I nervous. What an amazing memory with my hero......he used the Steelrider on his Christmas cd that year....so cool. Just thought I'd share with you all....Sooooo much talent in that room...Merry Christmas from our family to yours and Health & Happiness in 2016......Ed

Me on the far left, behind PeeWee. That was a great day, one of many we had in that shop. Wish I could grow that much hair now.... |

That does look a bit like Dr. Sheldon Cooper, behind the steel.
As I recall, his research was in "string theory" for many years. |

Hey Tony, That's what it looked like to me as well! Actually, I was reading a book,"Steel Players I've Met At The Country Club". As you can see, it's a very thin book! |
