Having a problem with the power on switch. I have to keep turning it on and off to make it stay on. Also when it is on it seems to not have a lot of high's like it's muffled. I have tried adjusting the eq but it still is off. Could the bad switch cause this? Thanks don

The power on/off switch either works or doesn't. It wouldn't cause the problem you are having. There are Molex connectors in the power supply. I had a problem with mine humming that was caused by a bad connection in one of them. This requires removing the chassis to access the connectors. Unplug then plug them back in. If I remember correctly there are three Molex connectors associated with the power supply. Obviously, if you are not comfortable with doing this, take it to a tech.

If its not the Molex connectors, a trip to a qualified Peavey amp tech is needed.
