I don't think so Jim. It's a very important show/convention for manufacturers.

As a music store owner I would be interested in attending again to see how things may have changed. There are fewer mom & pop stores, fewer distributors, which means there are fewer reps out on the road these days. My problem is my band always books a cool gig for that weekend - so do I attend NAMM and spend money on travel, hotel and possibly buy too much inventory - or do I go play a cool gig and make money? The summer show used to be cool in Chicago (years ago) and Nashville but I have heard the Nashville show has been up and down.... if retail keeps on the way it's been going there will be very few small stores like mine left to attend a NAMM show

I'll be there with Eminence doing some promotion for my speaker, along with a few other things that are under wraps at the moment. Gonna be a good time!

We had Summer NAMM here in Austin briefly. Everybody in town was excited about it, but apparently few within the industry saluted, so the flag came down after a couple years.

I will be playing on the Grammy stage at January NAMM with The Vignatis. Not sure what day we are playing. I hope we have Jay Leach on pedal steel again.

John, I'll be at NAMM for all 4 days. As a new forum member I'd be glad to meet anyone else from the forum or hear about any pedal steel activity.

Miles, when you know, please post when/where you'll be performing, I'd love to see some more Gypsibilly.
