I shape or bend my finger picks more or less to the contour of my finger tips, and then extending about 3/16" beyond the tip. My steel friend leaves them pretty much straight sticking out. I wondering do one or the other. How about our steel stars and pros...anybdy know?

I'm with you.....

Shap 'em with a 3/16 bent outward.
I do the plastic finger picks that I use on the 6-string electric guitar like that too.

(BTY)The plastic finger picks will mellow out the harshness of the PSG.
