I have been working on this model for over a year, and I am announcing it this week at the NAMM show in Anaheim. I figured I would give my steel playing friends the first look at it - so here is your sneak peek
I will be adding this to my site late next week, but here are the general specs:
30W Dairy Air Head - $1899 street price
Available in Blonde, Brown, or any one of my custom finishes.
20 watts with 6v6 power tubes
40 watts with 6L6 power tubes (this is what I recommend for pedal steel)
15lbs weight
Approx 17"x8"x8" dimensions
12AX7 Preamp tubes
Cathode Bias - no bias adjustment necessary
4/8/16ohm outputs
Controls for volume, treble, middle, bass
Mercury Magnetics
Jupiter Capacitors
Hand Wired in the USA
This amp is very small, yet still quite powerful, and specially designed for the road. Easily fits in an overhead bin or under an airplane seat. There are only 4 tubes and they are the most common tubes so you will never be looking for one should you break one: Two 12ax7's and two 6L6 and thats it
The matching speaker cabinet is optional, and price depends on what speaker or speakers you want to have installed. I am really liking this amp for pedal steel with the 6L6 tubes, and the TC Furlong 8ohm neo magnet speaker. Its an amazing, lightweight rig with 100% tube tone, and Milkman reliability.
I will be at NAMM in hall D #3397 - come say hi if you are there!

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |
