No tab, but listen to Buddy Emmons' Wichita Lineman, Danny Boy, Wild Mt. Thyme, Blue Jade. The minute I heard it I knew I had to have it. |

Along with the E-Eb lever it gives you a big fat major chord two frets below pedals down. Use it to slur up or down all the time. |

Jack, I have the Tab of Buddy doing Blue Jade, and he doesn't use that change at all. Maybe you have something different. _________________ Zum U-12, Carter SDU-12, Zum Encore, Emmons S-10, Emmons D-10, Nashville 400, Two Peavey Nashville 112, Boss Katana 100, Ibanez DD700, Almost every Lesson Jeff Newman sold. Buddy uses the change in his "half duzen shuffles" quite a bit and "Expedition E9th".

Yes, and he uses it a lot in his "Sounds Of Christmas", but was just referring to Blue Jade. I too have the one you mention here. I got it after his passing, what a shame. _________________ Zum U-12, Carter SDU-12, Zum Encore, Emmons S-10, Emmons D-10, Nashville 400, Two Peavey Nashville 112, Boss Katana 100, Ibanez DD700, Almost every Lesson Jeff Newman sold. Jim,
When Buddy played it live he frequently used it along with the Eb lever to end the song. Basically the move Ken was talking about. |

Another use is if you "split" the 6th string lower with the B pedal. At the I chord position it gives you a I minor. e.g. at the 5th fret strings 4,5,6 is an A major, split the 6th string (half tone lower) and 4,5,6 now becomes A minor. That same combination at the 5th fret can also be (part) of D ninth or probably more correctly minor ninth (at least how I use it). |
