I just helped Bob Hardy snag a super clean late model Sho-Bud LDG 3+4, new strings and it'll sing. Almost showroom clean.
I've helped review and sell a lot of pedal steels, and again saw here what I think is the needless culprit behind so many folks giving up pedal steel: they just don't know how to properly tune and set up a steel, and just get fed up with both trying to learn the instrument, and getting it and keeping it in tune.
I wish I could somehow offer this service via Skype to help folks out, but it's really a hands-on process. _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

and I must say that John had his work cut out for him on this one LOL... it was a little out of tune, ( john is laughing his ass off ) but john got it right and then gave it a full inspection, and I mean FULL inspection !! checked it for cabinet drop, ( I had no idea what that was ) and had me putting it in and out of the case before we left. best $ I have ever spent, I would suggest anybody looking to drop 2K or more, have it checked out by a pro. I love the LDG, and can't wait t get started on the lessons !! lucky to have John in the Pacific Northwest !!! |
