I stole this from the Old Piano Roll Blues standard and adapted it for Pedal Steel Guitar.
I have a Course still available that teaches this method of playing for those interested.
It's a challenge but a lot of fun time learning.

I like it!
I get a little bit of a Bobbe Seymour vibe with that flat-picking accompaniment that you are doing.

Hi Tim, yeah, I visited with Bobbe in 1997 and we jammed a bit with this style and kept in touch up until his passing.
The difference was that he did his Thumb Style on C6th while I persued the same style on E9th.
Save changing necks and offering a solo approach on the E9th standard tuning with the pedals and knee levers.
Kindest Regards,

Thanks Chris and Ron. I used to have a CD by Bobby Garrett and also one of Bobbe Seymour. Both were good at thumb picking.
Chet Atkins was my main influence. A lot of his Fingerstyle arrangements were published with notation and matching Tab. They were the key to my learning. _________________ Custom Tabs Various Tunings
