Joe passed away on Friday after a battle with cancer. He was a great drummer who laid down grooves with many a steel player in the Houston area and beyond. Joe was a real pro, and had a heart of gold. He will be so greatly missed here on earth, but heaven has gained one mighty drummer. RIP Joe.....

I can't count the sessions and gigs I've done with Joe. A great man and a great drummer. He will be missed.

I met Joe back in the eighties and he was a great drummer back then.
I lost track with him and haven't seen him in a long time. Sorry, to hear about him.
May he rest in peace.........
