They just keep calling asking about buying am Emmons PP. I try to talk them out of it, sometimes I win, most of the time they win, get it?
It could be the weather up here in Ore/Wash, it could be Lynn Staffords presence, it could be that so many other players have one in the herd, it might just be they sound so damned good.
They are not for everyone, they can be heavy, they take an understanding of the mechanics with this type of changer etc, they can look like a kitchen countertop, they can be really abused. But still the questions keep coming on "where can I get one"
Dennis Lee got one last week, got a call today looking for one, had another player in Oct who went with a LLII, but he did ask about the PP's.
Got to love it.
There are a lot of other great guitars and brands out there. Some like Chevy's, some like Fords, some even like VW's, just saying. They all get you there, and if it brings a smile to your face, you are the big winner. _________________ '70 D10 Black fatback Emmons PP, Hilton VP, BJS bars, Boss GE-7 for Dobro effect, Zoom MS50G, Stereo Steel amp, Telonics 15” speaker.
