Ive played guitar for many years and I have always used a 2x12 amp with at least 100 watts , my 6 stringers always sound good with this combo so I used it with my sho bud , hum , sounds ok then I pick up this little harmony amp with reverb and I think its a 10 inch speaker and it sounds so much better than my 2 x 12 amp amazing, so I try it with a delay pedal and it sounds even better, I guess the big amp aint always the best choice not too bad for a used 25.00 15 watt flea market amp. |

I'm right there with you. I use a silvertone tube amp at home, maybe 10-15 watts and it sounds great. No reverb but I actually like to practice dry so it works great for me. |

One of my favorite recording amps is my Magnatone Varsity Deluxe. 5 watts with an 8" speaker. If you don't need to fill a big room with sound a little all tube amp sounds very sweet. |
