Topic: TriboTone Bars... still on hiatus |

Just caught up with Eric Ebner, of TriboTone Bars. Folks have been asking me if I'd heard from him or knew of his plans... he's been on extended hiatus from the business.

Turns out that it was Life, with a capital 'L', of course... he's raising a son, the major one. He's had to move and lose the shop he had, but he has plans to build another one where he is. He's not interested in investors or selling the business... I asked! I told him that folks were asking about him (really, you've only been asking about his bars, but I thought I'd be nice)... he said he gets lots of calls still, and that he's 'working on it'. I also let him know that he should not let folks forget how nice his bars are... sort of a subtle dig at "get 'er done!". I'll try to keep up with Eric's progress and let y'all know every couple of months. And Eric... if you're reading this... we're waiting!

Most all of us of us get nailed by "Life" to a greater or lesser degree so good luck to Eric with this.
I'm assuming he has a day job that takes priority over the bars? It can be really hard to keep up with a side business when your main source of income is demanding, but it sure beats the alternative.
