Beautiful Holiday 10 String Console Steel guitar. All original and includes all original steel, legs, cover and case. This steel can be strung lefty or righty simply by flipping the saddle & bridge rods around in their channels. The controls (vol/tone) were intended to face inward towards player for righty. But it actually works just great as a lefty with controls outward like many steels are built.

I play lefty and it is currently strung lefty. Sounds great!

This steel is remarkably clean. The build is stellar. The wood appears to be maple with some birdseye grain. The There are no markings on this guitar to indicate brand but it is undoubtedly build by Charles E. Moore and the Holiday Steel Company. I'm guessing early/mid 1970's.

There a two small screw holes were a placard may have been on the side opposite the controls. (See photo).

Specs:
Pickup reads 10ohms and sounds terrific.
String spacing center to center: 3/8" bridge, 5/16" neck
24" scale
4 adjustable legs that pack underneath for travel.

Asking $1400 plus shipping.

Thanks for looking!

I have a near twin to that guitar, and it's a very well built, good sounding and good playing steel. I like the way that the legs store inside the guitar itself too!

Dave, does your Holiday steel have a logo? If so I'd love to see a photo. Thanks.

Mine does have the logo--here's a link to a page with lots of Holiday pictures and information:

Mine is the one with the butterfly markers on the fretboard.
