In the spirit of the season....

I started out to make a simple recording of Ghost Riders on Lap steel…
Of course I needed some acoustic guitar backing, and maybe some Telecaster licks- ok just a little keyboard and perhaps a few Pedal steel pads.
But then the track was just crying out for a different instrument taking the melody… what about a Bass solo? Then a Tele 8 part choir call and response
on the chorus, and of course some vocals at the end. Well 32 tracks and 10 hours later. I’m done.

Dom.....That's a great rendition of the hit song Vaughn Monroe sang back in 1948.

Is that a beer bottle being opened at 2:14?

Another outstanding example of your creative musical
talent. I don't know where it comes from.......but
you've obviously got it.
Thanks for sharing.

Peter; It's not a beer bottle at 2:14... just a highly compressed, close miked Jumbo acoustic guitar.
It's also a quick one take mix that could be done better.
Very Happy
