GFI keyless are incredibly light.. any modern keyless would be lighter than a Carter I suppose... Not many pro guitars with full keyheads that would be lighter than a Carter.... bob _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!

A Jackson Blackjack Custom is a light guitar. I play a Jackson Blackjack Custom and can be played anywhere and is a great steel guitar for any player of any level-it's a professional guitar that can be played by any player, no matter what level you are. |

Thanks guys. I played a keyless GFI before, it was sweet and I love the Jackson's. |

What Bob said. I had a keyless GFI U-12 for a while and it was easily the lightest guitar I've owned. Had pretty good tone with a Jerry Wallace Truetone. |

you need to do more homework for a bigger picture of what's available. justice pro lite, mullen discovery, zum encore, and more come in very light packages these days. |

I have a GFI Ultra keyless S-10 which I believe is 26 lbs., and 32 lbs. in the case.
But as Chris and others wrote, there are a number of relatively light guitars on the market these days, do lots of homework before you pul the trigger. _________________ Mark |

My new Williams s-12 wide body is a little over 26 lbs with 5 and 4.. With wood neck. Their s-10 with 3 pedals specs out at 25 lbs on their site.. These are all with key heads but I doubt that the keyless would save you much.. Great guitar |

I'd be interested to see the GFI case which weighs six pounds. |

I have a small budget if I sell the Carter. If interested in a S12 please inbox me. The guitar is signed by Chuck Campbell. |

Not sure what I was thinking there - left off the "1" - it's more like 42 lbs. in the case, so 16 lbs. for the case.
But the guitar itself is indeed about 26 lbs. _________________ Mark |

I bought split cases from Kevin Hatton.
The Carter and Emmons U-12 both fit.
Very light x 2
The big case weighs 33 lbs with the Carter |

I thought my Emmons pp was heavy. My EMCI is heavier. But it puts out GREAT tone. So I guess I'll keep it. |

i find it hard to believe that an emci of the same
configuration would weigh more than a push-pull.
p/ps are heavy! |
