Beautiful LDG. By the looks of the head stock, and the non-colored fret board, I would say it was made after 1977. And probably has the 2 hole bell cranks, and the pot metal parts underneath. You don't show the knee levers, but they should be the newer straight ones. Should still play for years, and give you all the best enjoyment. Very good find, and the best of luck to you. I still play my 77 all the time, and love it. Ronnie
PS, Please keep it out of any sunlight, so the color won't fade. _________________ Sho-Bud LDG, Martin D28, Ome trilogy 5 string banjo, Ibanez 4-string bass, dobro, fiddle, and a tubal cain. Life Member of AFM local 142 |

I'd almost be willing to bet that it has the super pro undercarriage........triple raise, double lower changer, 5 hole bellcranks, and hex cross shafts. But I could be wrong. Sure is a beauty. |

Had the pleasure of standing over Loyd while he was playing in some hall informally at the St Louis Convention some year. That guy's got more soul and taste..... |
