I was looking at the bottom of my '76 Classic, to see how hard it would be to switch the right knee lever assignments to the left knee, and vice-versa.

To do this, I'm going to have to move at least one bellcrank to a different crossrod.

This guitar has the aluminum frame. Is it going to be necessary to take a side of this frame off to slide bellcranks off a rod, or can the two-piece cranks be taken off without this? (It looks like that may be a tight squeeze.)

Thanks,

Jeff

Easy. Unscrew the 6 screws that hold the back aluminum cover on. Take an allen wrench and losen the cranks and pedal rod doo dad. Slide the rod out. Slide it back in with the cranks where you want them.

Thanks Bill, I see the backplate you're talking about with the six screws.

I'm getting a mental picture now of just sliding the shafts out, sliding the bellcranks around a little with the pull rods out....yeah, you're right; that does look easy.

These darn MSA's are sure user friendly.
