Hope this is in the right place.
Anyway on the song above what was Weldon doing toward the end of his solo going into the five cord.
Sounds like he is on strings 6,7,and 9.
Any ideals I would very much be greatful for.
Mike Johnson and Tommy White did that same run on Teea Goans tribute to Weldon and Hal.

Thanks

On the 1958 original version of this song by Charlie Walker, the steel player (Jimmy Day) went to strings 5,6 &9 in the 3rd last measure of the break:

As tabbed by Ricky Davis for our web site a few years back. Key of F#.

Thanks Graham, I was close on 5,6,and 9 but it seem like something was missing.
Thanks Again,
Steve

Does anyone know Weldon Myrick's version of this song? I've got it all down except the end of his solo going into the five cord. And it is tricky for me anyway.
Thanks

Steve, check out Joe Baecus' video on youtube. He has it. Done why Weldon.
I hope that will help.
