I picked up three of these boxed sets at the Union Rescue Mission thrift store. Great condition, probably never played. A lot of it is orchestral stuff that I don't care for but there is a fair amount of "singing guitar", particularly from a group called the Kalua Beach Boys. Nice descriptions of the songs but not much about the players so I don't know who is playing steel. If anyone knows, please tell me.
Just to be clear, these are Monophonic LP vinyl records in a 4 album boxed set. Shipping will be $8/set media mail in the US lower 48. If there's any change I'll send it to the forum. If nobody's interested I'll just donate them back and keep a set for myself. No sweat. |
