My wife and I went to see Mike Oldham and His Tone Rangers last night. Well, truth be told I went to see Rusty Danmyer and Mike Jones. These guys were awesome, the entire band. twin Steels, twin Fiddles, twin guitars. They played the type of music that made Nashville great and Mike could sang it all. I don't know why he doesn't have a record deal. They played the big room at the Nashville Palace. I think they only have one more show until next spring. Here is who was in this 10 piece band, Rusty Danmyer and Mike Jones on steel, Johnny Lee Carpenter and Ernie Reed on fiddles, Kevin Keys and Mark Moree on guitar and Tim Atwood on keys, Rick Vaungh and Ron Luttrick on drums and bass. I think I got all the names correct, if not I apologize in advance. I think it's one of the best things going in Nashville.

Hey Bob! Good to hear your getting out and getting a little therapy for the ears. For your next therapy session come to Morganville Opry and check out Jeremy Drawbaugh (your son) playing some mighty fine steel guitar in a big 4-piece band, which by the way has twin steel guitars also. Jeremy (your son) is getting awesome on that steel. He`s been pro-rated since the last time you heard him. Hmmmm, not sure what that means, maybe I meant to say rated-pro! Anyway hope to see you and Brenda (Jeremy`s Mom) soon.

Dale now this is sad that we have to communicate on the forum when we live so close. Hey, I get a private concert every week from Jeremy Drawbaugh(my son) when he comes over for his private lesson. Winking No, just kidding. I do need to get out an hear you guys, it's been a while.
