Here we have a Custom-ordered McConnell 16" model built for a client of ours. This guitar was in part inspired by Paul Heumiller's personal McConnell, with its primo Brazilian Rosewood back and sides perfect German Spruce top, a truly incredible Brazilian Rosewood neck, and fanned fret layout with a 26" scale length on the low E and a 25" on the high. If you frequent our website often you know we are big Fans of Jordan's work: he has one of the most unique aesthetics and voices out there, and we just love it. This is one of Jordans latest guitars and represents everything that makes a guitar great, from the beautiful lines and perfect craftsmanship to that modern tone and feel. This, in our minds, is about as perfect as a guitar can get. The incredibly lightweight build allows for a gargantuan voice with buckets of sustain and strong, dynamic tonality. Lowered tunings sound fabulous, thanks to the fanned frets, and the tastefully sloped Florentine cutaway is both gorgeous to look at and delightfully convenient for playing the upper registers. This guitar comes with a Karura hardshell case.
