Susan came by the shop yesterday on her way back to Texas to drop off an Emmons guitar. She gave me a couple of her CDs, I had never heard her play, I must say that I am very impressed with her playing. She is also a very nice person.
Wish her the best of luck with her knee surgery.

I agree, Billy. I have had the pleasure of exchanging a couple of emails and Facebook "likes" and comments and must say I feel a kinship to Susan in much the same way as I do to a friend. That's just the way Susan is...
And yes, she is a super musician as well, and a fine representative of our beloved steel guitar. _________________ BenRom Pedal Steel Guitars

I feel the same and think you're a lucky man to have her stop by. I've got a friend in NYC who's waiting for her to just 'stop by' there and play.
One of the folks I'd like to meet, and also, to watch play. _________________ Those that say don't know; those that know don't say.--Buddy Emmons |

Billy, it was quite a treat to stop by your shop last week - all the Emmons cases, your expertise when discussing the issues with my Emmons push/pull, and especially the "I Sang Dixie" ZB guitar that you had modernized for Tom Brumley.
Thanks for your best wishes (I go under the knife next week). I hope that your shoulder is continuing to heal, and I look forward to seeing you again next month.
Also, I'm glad you enjoyed the CD's. _________________ www.susanalcorn.net
