What gauge wire does Peavey use for connecting the speaker to the amp.
I am installing a Telonics 12" speaker in my NV112 and want to make some longer leads on the speaker wires.
I have some radio shack 22 gauge hookup wire, but am not sure if that is a correct match for the NV112.

#16 wire or "zip cord" (AC power cord) will work. The 22 ga is too small.

Ended up using 18 gauge...16 gauge is heavier than what Peavey is using in the NV112. The leads I added to the Peavey leads are only 3" long. Uses spade connectors with "shrink" and left the other end bare wire for connecting to the Telonics posts.
If I ever want to use the Blue Marvel speaker again I have the original connectors still intact.
