Does anybody know,or played steel or reg. guitar through one of these new Peavey 112 Bandit amps with trans/tube tech. I just bought one on MF's site, 12 per cent off. I figure If it's junk I can send it back. Please let me know if their O.K. Hi Lee... I like mine.. not a new model though. .. in a live setting. ..lots of vibe and thick tone. A few prior threads on this topic. Quite a few guys use them actually... of course. .. prior model years going back to the 80s. Mine is the silver or chrome stripe model with the sheffield speaker. Like any amp. .. the speaker makes or breaks it... and I would guess its the speaker that changes most between model years. |

Hi Tom, MF say's it has a blue marvel speaker. 91 reviews 5 stars. I want to use it for guitar and steel. Looks like it's outclassing Fender in that price range.
