I think this is a MSA volume pedal . Has a gear mechanism instead of a string. It feels pretty solid. Needs a new pot as it cuts out.

Those are good pedals. I own three of them and that's all I use. Just put one of Tom Bradshaw's pots in it and you will be good to go.
