Now THIS is what country is supposed to sound like! Great Vocals by Kimberly, and the usual phenominal steel playing by the great Dickey Overbey.

Chris, I don't disagree with you, but if you will listen to any of the Texas honkytonk music, you will hear this. It is the way it is done in Texas.
And that is the GREAT Dicky Overby. _________________ AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. The song is named "The Steel Guitar Song" and you complain that the steel is overplayed???? You must hate steel shows!
Nashville should take a page from Texas's book when it comes to steel and fiddle in their music. Best country music today is coming out of Texas! _________________ Rebel |

Sorry Chris, I did not see the smiley faces.
Sad though that you won't attend a steel show.
Do you play pedal steel? _________________ AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. ABSOLUTELY!
Always has; always will.
'Course we gotta give a little credit to Bakersfield, too. _________________ A couple D-10s,some vintage guitars & amps, & lotsa junk in the gig bag. |
