I have a gig on 9/13, and the guy is going to do "South Of The Border", and the Bobby Flores version at that. Does anyone have some C6 stuff for the intro and maybe a solo? I need it quick so I can learn it by next weekend.

I have something simple I worked out, but I could use something a little better.

This is a one shot gig with this band (I hope). So learning a bunch of stuff for it is not in my future. If I would have seen his set lists before accepting the gig, I would have said no. At least I get to play with a girl singer I like, and a bass player that I also like. I have no idea who the guitar player and drummer are. Never heard of them.

I tried to tab the intro of that:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WwaWamGMXg

Important: I tabbed it for U-12!
It should be readable o a C6, too. String 12 on the Uni is simply String 10 on the C6-Neck.
Play everything 1 fret lower!
"D-Lev. in" simply means to hold the D-Lever i to get the B6-Mode on the Uni, you dont need to do that on a C6-Neck.
In Bar 6 i press my B-Pedal to get that chord, on a C6, you may need a Lever to raise string 4 one halftone...Maybe, there's another opportunity to get the chord...?
I tried my best, i hope i can help you a little bit...
Would be glad for any corrections...
Unfortunately the quality of the .jpeg isn't the best one...I have a PDF too, but only .jpeg an relatives will work here.
Cheers

Sorry, a few corrections, after hearing it again with (hopefully) fresh ears:
- bar 2: Pedal 5 on beats 3 & 4
- still not quite shure if pickup in bar 4 are played like written...
- bar 7: wrong top notes on beats 4-and
- bar 8: bottom note added on beats 2-and

...it's my 1st tune i transcribed in a C6/B6 mode, maybe some things would be played in a different way...please be patient, and correct everything you'll find further!
Cheers
