Here is a recording of my old school friend and best buddy, Chris Lowe. It was recorded at Basil Henriques's home study about 6 years ago. Basil is playing pedal steel and I'm on Dobro.
Left-to-Right: Chris Lowe, Pat & Basil Henriques, Alan Brookes. |

I can't get it to accept the pic, right side up... |
Here you go, Edward. Now you can delete your sideways one.
The trick is to turn it before you post it.
Thanks for the kind words. |

Thanks Allen!
I read that you are a model train enthusiast, and thought you may enjoy a pic of the locomotive crane? The picture was captured just a moment before I posted. I enjoyed yours and Chris's playing and wanted to share the photo, in exchange... |

Thanks Edward. There's some controversy about whether one should have both steel guitar and Dobro in the background simultaneously, but I see no problem with it.
Yes, railways have been my main interest since I was a kid, living in a world of steam. In those days there were only seven mainline diesel locomotives in the whole of Britain, and no diesel multiple units at all, and, before the Beeching axe, there were three times as many railway lines. |
