Hey gang,

I've been spending far too much time on the Resophonic Outfitters websight checking out the Wave steels; the 2010 looks intriguing - though asymmetrical. Anyone tried any of them? Love to get some feedback.

Thanks,

Ian

Paul's steels have been around for years now. If you care, Jerry Douglas is using the B2010. He came up with the dual offset concept.

I personally use the B0000 but I'm probably in the minority these days. That's OK. Very Happy

I think the 2010 is the most popular of the bunch. YMMV.

They are really nice quality.

I like the 2010. Switching ends gives some variety to your approach and it does help make my left hand less tired. Less prone to cramping.

I use the Beard Wave Steel B-2010 regularly, mostly with the 20 degree as the front side.

Which bar material do you all prefer? Plated brass or stainless?

I'm a chrome plate guy myself. Stainless has advocates as well.

The Beard chromed bars are plated steel not brass. fwiw
