Just curious has anyone ever used Lawrence 705 in an older sho-bud say a Pro II or Pro III.

I have an original chrome surround 705 for my 1972 Sho-Bud LDG. It sounds great.

I put one in a later model LDG I had - one of those Pro III era guitars with aluminum necks. It was a long time ago but I remember it making for a big improvement.

I have no experience with lawrence pups on Shobuds but I've heard people say that 710s sounded better on wooden necks and the 705s better on aluminum.
